Hey I am a bif of a EL noob. I have already bought 18's and dumped it and now I am lookin at moding the engine.
I have about $3000 to spend and I was wondering what would be the best idea to spend it on performance wise. |

Is it auto or manual?
Have you got an exhaust yet? What part of OZ do you live in? Do you want to drag race it? Will you spend more money on it later for mor mods? Just a few things to think about perhaps if you put a post in one of the sponsors threads they could give you a few ideas as well An exhaust, cold air and a cam are probably a good idea for the falcons maybe even get some headwork done depending on how much you can diy Good luck.

Personally i'd go:
- 5 speed conversion $1000-1500 - Exhaust + extractors $500-900 ?? - CAI ($ depends on setup you want $20-300 e.g. just snorkel or 3" piping, sequential scoop etc) - Cam $250 + Then maybe some kind of chip or aftermarket ecu if your running a big cam. Do fairmonts come with 3.45 LSD or is it that just the ghia's? If they dont then a 3.7 LSD as well. |
