Default Tow bar on Fiesta, anyone got one?

Thinking of getting a tow bar to use to hook-up a 2 or 3-tier bike rack..anyone know of good shops where one could get one installed at a decent price..or would you not recommend it..?

Car in question is for 2007 Fiesta LX 2-door..

Cheers

Looked at getting a tow bar for the sole purpose of carrying bikes - almost went with a factory accessory towbar before stumbling across the Thule bike rack which attaches to the hatch. Holds 3 bikes, is easy to install and remove. Most importantly, it is very sturdy.

Out of sheer coincidence, I've got a mate who is currently selling some of the Saris 3 bike strap-on racks on the major auction site (I wonder if I can say it's name here, on the other forums I'm on you can't!). I was only talking to him yesterday about them - designed for people who can't have - or don't want to have - a towbar.

If you do a search on "Saris Bones" on the 'bay, you'll find them.

HAve a look at THULE hatch mounted racks, works really well, once they';re set up you only have to push one lever to attach it to the car.

Are also Carbon fibre bike friendly as they don't support any of the weight on the tubes.

What about roof racks as an option? No good?

The ford dealers still sell the older towbars and harnesses. I think they are rated 850kg from memory.Price from our dealer quite acceptable.
