Default Power steering new cap?

How do I fix this? It's the cap that's covering the power steering...

Default Re: Power steering new cap?

You need a new rack boot. Then remove the tie rod end from the steering knuckle and slide the new boot on, reassemble.

Really there is only two ways to do this once you remove the tie rod end from the steering knuckle. You either unwind the tie rod end from the rack to get the new boot on, or you try slide the boot on with the tie rod end still attached to the rack, the 2nd method can be more difficult in some ways, but wrapping the tie rod in glad wrap and oiling it up can work sometimes.
