For those who are interested, I just saw Love the Beast with Eric Bana. It comes out in Qld on Thursday 12th, but Qantas was showing it on the plane on the way over to the US. Bloody good movie / documentary. I'll watch it again on the way back !!!!

I caught this at an advanced screening last week. The best part was that Eric Bana was present in the cinema and participated in a questions and answers sesssion after the film... should have asked what his daily was.
Anyone remotely interested in cars will enjoy this. |

I'd say his daily is a Porsche of some sort.

I saw Bana over 4 weeks ago doing a photo shoot in a old silver Porsche spyder near McCrae Beach , Victoria and noticed a dark Blue current Porshe parked right near the shoot and assume that this was his car as he races Porsches. He loves speed and good on him.

I saw it Saturday in Geelong for an early screening and absolutely loved it. 2nd best doco i've ever seen. 1st was the Metallica one sorry(bloody great doco). anyway, i found a lot of the comments in the film very familiar and fit into my life quite well.
I also got a lot of inspiration to get my **** into gear and start spending money on the old '66 XR Falc. Everyone should see it. The missus loved it too. Mainly coz Eric Bana, quote "looks so hot". So guys, your girlfriends have something to check out too. lol

As I was heading over to Heweys the sky was falling, and I was worried it would be a wash out, the rain cleared while i was waiting for Hew to get home form work so I figured it would be OK. we got to Stanleys at about 6.30 stole his ute (thanks Stan) I have to say the cruize to the drive in's is much better in an old car than a company ford we arrived in to Criceters arms road, well we managed to pull in to the end of the cue, there was a healthy mix of muscel with a scattering of rods and a hand full of grosery getters (Hew's photos show that really well)
Once in it was a great opertunity to catch up with a few Ozrodders (Andrew it was great to finaly meet sorry if I talked your leg off) Its an absolute cracker, the coupe is the star but the film is more about the psychological aspect the coupe reprecents in his life, had he been in to cyceling he could have still made the exact same move and it would have worked. as far as doco's go it moved along at a steaady pace with the slow un nessasery filler keped to a safe minimum 3 1/2 starts from the yeti

Blacktown Drive Ins a lot of people are going on the 14th(this saturday) - gates open at 7:30 - i'd say be there then because its gonna be packed. Costs $15, $5 of it goes to charity. 1hr and 28 mins long, and then after it they're playing Kenny lol. so $15 for 2 movies - not bad!
