THE RETURN OF THE LITHGOW
http://www.sportingshootermag.com.au...-hunting-rifle its called the LA101 and it looks sweet, I will defs buy one not sure in what cal but it does come in .17 .22 .22wmr .223 .308 this couldn't have come at a better time for the aussie shooting community and can only be a good thing for Australian manufacturing not sure on price as yet its due for release in the 3rd quarter of 2013

Will be interesting to see how it goes in reviews as there are many good riffles in the market. As long as it priced right is reliable and shoots well it could succeed. As with most things it all comes down to the best bang for the buck (couldn't resist)

I have a Lithgow .22 BA, had it for yonks.
It will be interesting to see how it goes, price will be critical.

Great news!! The old Lithgow .22's would still be sitting in farm sheds around the country by the thousand. They were extremely popular and even ratty looking ones are still perfectly acceptable today as a hunting rifle for rabbits and so-on.
