Was expecting a Komatsu to be a ride on lawn mower, but thats a serious set of wheels. Would love to have a yard full of Holden Commodores, Hyundais and Toyotas of all vintages amd have a field day with that Komatsu

Even better when they spin a 793 (240t payload) down a ramp into a windrow, then decide it wasn't entirely the operators fault cause the water cart over watered...
That being said, the autonomous ones spin out occasionally!

That truck in the video is only a little one, imagine what it is like when a Cat 797(340t payload)gets out of shape. The worst thing about the Komatsu Deisel electric trucks is that they slide at the drop of a hat compared to a Cat truck. I wonder if a disgruntled operator has ever stolen a rear dump and gone on a rampage through a town?.

I recon there might be a mess to clean up on the seat after doing that.
probably didn't even know it was drifting until the lost it. not sure about those dump trucks, but trucks without a bonnet (cabover) you wont see/feel a slide if your not looking in the mirror

1/10 from me, good work with the initial slide but a drift it is not...
Be hella fun doing it though.

Watched a bloke lock up the rears retarding down a wet ramp in a Hitachi EH 5000, then drift it in under the shovel bucket. Was quite impressed but also looked pretty scary.

It's good to see safety before production...not. Even in the video you can see how wet the surface is and how about the fog. Pretty stupid operating a rear dump in those conditions. Those good old yanks hey!

Not enough right foot lovin to keep it straight!! 793s are easy to hang the rear out and drift them windrow to windrow,

We have T282's that I operate with a max 406t payload and a 650t gross weight and electric drive. Now these get scary when you hand the rear out. That truck is a Tonka toy
