Default Home and away douchebags

Just saw an ad for home and away where an fg xr6 is flying through the air and into a lake. Couldn't they ruin a Camry or a commodore instead? There's more of those pieces of rubbish than there are Falcons, for me it's another reason to hate that troglodyte bulltish that appeals to the lowest common denominator.

The way i like to think is they always crash falcons because the stunt drivers know they are built so well, they will always walk away after the crash, and their confidence in crashing anything else is non existant. Its a good theory anyway. I know from experience how strong the falcon chassis is after seeing one hit a tree and roll in front of me and the next day looking at the car there wasnt a straight panel on it, but the chassis rails were as straight as the day it rolled off the factory floor.

Movies ARE the new commercials. I noticed nearly every car in captain America was a chev. Except the random cars being destroyed as collateral damage.

H&A is all Ford could afford.

Don't know why but I feel compelled to say "I only read it for the articles".

Was channel surfing late last night and saw a flying FG, then saw the saccharinistic acting and dramatisation and correctly surmised it must be Home and Away.

I do recall they had a bus rollover some time ago and they showed that footage on every ad break for 7 mate for months on end. It was like, "we spent money on this stunt and need maximum exposure to get our money's worth."

As for neighbours, I can't believe that is still going. What's the plot lines in that now? Bogan 1 has a gay sister's goldfish that only likes coming out of it's cave in sequins with a Freddy Mercury moustache, and he figures she inadvertantly performed a seance whilst conducting a colo-rectal exam on her transgender friend, which allowed some wayward gay spirit to permanently possess the gayfish?

Nope, as tempting as they sound, my preference over watching those two shows would be to pound my groin repeatedly with a rubber mallet.

I guess you guys got what you wanted, Falcon exposure.
If a Falcon wasn't used in someway I am sure there would be a cry of some kind of bias.

YA FLAMIN MONGRELS!

I remember watching it as a teen and there was a chick on there called Marilyn, she had the bra-size of Echuca. Every time the camera was on her I wished I was six-months-old again.

I'm just glad this thread is about a car as when I saw the thread title 'Home & Away Douche-bags' I thought to myself, "Man, that is going to be a long list of names".

All fun-and-games Charlie...good to see Alf stayed in character for your photo.

And I have to admit to watching it occassionally as a teen way back in the 80's as I had a crush on the eldest foster kid that lived in a van - can't remember her name, but she filled out the upper section of her school uniform quite well.
