Yesterday, while driving along normally in traffic, a yellow warning light appeared which looks like one car crashing into the rear of another.
The Forward Collision Alert system uses the radar, but the adaptive cruise control is still quite happy. I used Forscan to find that the Cruise Control Module (CCMii) was reporting a DTC code: C1A67:87-28. I cannot find reference anywhere to this code. I have: - reset the DTC - done an on demand self-test of the CCMii module (all good), and - done a module reset of the module The light is still on. Any ideas ? |

Translates to :
Forward-facing sensor Other error symptoms: Message is missing Module: Speed control module So you were right, the Adaptive Radar sensor. The pic above were from a guy in Germany that had his radar sensor fail mk4 mondeo, so he got another from a volvo but the part numbers were different and the system didn't like it, it didn't run hence missing message. He then got a matching part number ACC sensor and on fitting it went straight to learning mode and CC were working again. Google tanslated hope it helps perhaps remove the battery cable for a couple of minutes to see if the code clears?!?

Given that the cruise control still works, I'm not sure it's worth buying a new radar module on the off-chance it might fix the problem - might just put up with the ever-present warning light. |

Hello, I'm having the same issue, did you have any luck troubleshooting any further?

I think have I may have cleared my issue. I took the front grill area off and cleaned, but no issue resolved.
I later found in convers that the forward collision system was turned off, switsqueamish ed on and issue resolved, same goes for the lane departure warning. I just turned on via LHS indicator stalk. I don't know why they had turned off, or why I didn't look into this simple answer sooner. Hope this helps someone. Sent from my SM-J810Y using Tapatalk |

You mentioned you turned it back on via the LH indicator stalk - I couldn't see anything about that in my manual, and had to do it via the menus. (I've got an MC Titanium). One good thing is I discovered the sensitivity setting, and have put it on Low, so maybe it won't be so annoying. |

I think he was referring to Lane Departure Warning, which has a button on the stalk, not the Forward Collision Alert (which as you found is toggled in the menus).
