I think some people struggle with the concept of a car like this? Has anyone actually looked at the criteria for the Ridler award? Heres a snipit.
Quote:
The vehicle must prove minimal operability. It must start, move forward and backward under its own power, turn left and right and stop using the brake pedal, before it is placed on the floor for display. Keep in mind that this is a minimum to qualify. Operational function ability is something the judges will look at.

I read the title and thought just like many that it was a cross between a Ferrari and Lamborghini and thought the worst.

The saw the car / creation and thought Ferrari and some US Ambo vehicle!

As Scotty85 said, they should've called it Ferrambler. But, it was their or customers money. They can call it whatever they please!

Beautiful work. Handstitching of the leather wiring loom cover just highlighted the unbelievable attention to detail!

Thats not the point at all, why would you drive it? Cars built for the Ridler award are built purely as art pieces, museum pieces. I think it was in Street Machine last year they interviewd Troy Trepanier who built Ross and Beth Meyers 1936 Ford Coupe, he said that the gaps on it were that tight that a drive would wreck it.
