Default Steve Ellery. Option not picked up!

ing_sm
Just heard that 888 have decided not to pick up the option for Steve Ellery. Talk about not giving the bloke half a go! Steves year has been a little less than great, with a poor start at the GP, but I thought he deserved a little better.

Chin up Steve, we will still cheering for you! :

The bush telegraph tells me that this is one third of an as yet incomplete seat juggling.

I sat next to Steve at the Indy Breakfast yeterday and to say he is dissapointed would be an understatement. He is unsure what he will do next year. Lets just hope he gets a good drive. As our club patron we should all get behind him and wish him well.

Cheers Steve and good luck,

Ken J

Or could it be because someone else has offered more money than Steve was paying for the drive???

I could be proven to be wrong but I thought I heard in the media somewhere that Steve could get a drive in the vacant SBR seat.

The rumor is Greg Ritter is finished with FPR and Jason Richards is taking his seat at FPR...
Could it be Greg Ritter to 888?
Also there saying Cam Mc Conville will be in a new seat next year.....all rumor's form the V8 telecast today..

Didn't Steve Ellery have a franchise with the Supercar series or did he give it up to go with T8.

I think he and his father have a hand in the HPDC aka Konica seies
Steve Ellery Racing (SER) have 2 cars in that The Hyundai Falcon and the Kanga Falcon I think
That is one more reason not to go to Supercheap - they dumped Steve this time last year left him high and dry at Indy and now they sponsor the mouth from over the pacific - Murph
