With all these people upgrading their Terriory steel wheels and going rather cheap I was wondering if they they would be the correct offset to fit on my T sa as I can get a set for track days and the drags etc.
Does anyone know what size they are? I think they are 17" but what is the width? Do you think they would be ok for this sort of thing, or would they be too heavy? I assume if there is any weight difference it would only be minor and therefor would not be too much of a problem. Mick |

they are definatley 17" but not sure on width... i'd imagine somewhere in the 7" area....

Ok I found out the width is 7.5" so just need to know if they are the correct offset and also if anyone can see any problems with putting some of those street legal track tyres on?

they should fit ok. they are the same offset as an AU or BA, and ive seen them on an AU ute..
i myself cant see any issues with putting track tyres on them.... they'd be a good wheel to use i reckon |

Size = 17x 7.5"
Offset = OK for AU-BA-BF Very strong but also very heavy!

Theres a guy in the club with a Ba Xr8 that uses them on the back when he goes out to drag at willowbank.

Yep they fit the AU & BA BUT as with mine with the Tickford Premium brakes on it they touch the calipers in the front by about a bees pecker (the steel pressouts of the spoke holes) so if you have a BA with the premium or aftermarket PBR brakes be careful
Yes they are damn heavy 1 steel 17" terry wheel with tyre = 35kgs as opposed to 1 AU2 XR8 17" alloy with tyre = 20kgs
