Cool Many Thanks to Joe at Crescent Motorsport.

Hi All,
Well i have been having major drama's with my AU2 XR8. I have put up many posts about the drama's and tried many things and too many mechanics.
I had 2 Major Ford dealer hand me back my car with no idea what was wrong.

Well i smiled today as my falcon kicked sideways tryin to overtake a slower car.

Many Many thanks to Joe at Cresent Motorsport for finding and fixing the problem... I have now found my new mechanic for all future repairs and upgrades.

Well he found that the harmonic balancer was stuffed and that one of my coil packs was dead on one segment. A big name Ford dealer handed me back the key and told me they had never sean this problem and didn't know how to fix it...

What were the symptoms of the car with the stuffed balancer?

Joe's a good bloke ... overworked indeed ... and always has time for you.
Hope he can get himself another mechanic though ... as you really need to book in advance to get in there.

Always fixed issues on my vehicles that I could not ... I travel just over an hour to go there actually to get work done on my vehicles.

It had a vibration that i had not noticed and a rough idle.

Yes he is very overworked and booking are a must. And the longer you can leave the car the better.
