Just looks like another modified and messed around with XR8 to me with an identity crissis.
The fpv badges should be removed and binned as its a Tickford..
The steering wheel is the normal one, not the Momo upgrade one, the gear knob is some aftermarket POS, or off a later model, but not correct. It dosent specify its a 220kw car, so its prolly not. The front mesh looks crap and so wrong..

What do I think? Personally its hideously overpriced and the mods done arent to my taste.. Id say the story about the car is a bit of bull too or embellished at the least.. Its pretty easy to do up some mods an make em sound like their factory.. Without any kind of paperwork or proof, Id not beleive a word of it..
Price wise, recently a few similar cars to that have sold for around 9-10k here, maybe not as few klms, but still..

An FPV AU ...... rare as! Should demand a higher price than the more common T series which are a dime a dozen these days and only came out with Tickford badges.

It might have a few add on part's that make it look pretty ordinary and if I owned it, it certaintly wouldn't look like that but in saying that, it has low klm's and could easily be turned into a nice looking AU II XR8, just how it should be, but not at that price.

it is quite possible it was a nz only spec car, in regards to the touring bit anyway, wouldnt be the first time ford (and holden) did nz only specs.

but agree with the rest, most of its just hokey.

It must be genuine, it's being sold by a car dealer.

(The Touring Kit was a map of NZ in the glovebox)

Not a bad looking car, i mean if someone on here had been modifying it, we'd be saying great job.

But someone has obviously traded it in, and the dealer is thinking he has everyone fooled.
