Headlight fog

Its finally happened the passanger side headlight gets fog in it. It only seems to happen when water is on the car like when washing it and rain. Though it goes away fairly quickly and isn't too much of a problem. My question is should I re-seal it , will it just get worse? Im thinking of doing the black paint inside as well like the t-series though im not sure on a stock forte what do you think?

The other option is some aftermarket au lights but not sure if I should go down that road?

Take them apart, paint the bezels black, and reseal them. That way, at least you know the lights have been sealed properly. If you're not sure about painting them black - paint them body colour. The effect is nearly as good, IMO, and much better than the standard chrome/silver.

How to you take it apart any way? I've been thinking about doing the same idea but the whole light unit is sealed shut. Do we heat it up with a blow torch or bake it with the sunday roast?

Its mentioned on aufalcon.com how to do it. Im thinking of using a heat gun should work just as well. I wasn't sure how black would look on a stock forte though.

JC, then you take them apart what do you reseal them with? silicon or something? I'm kinda interested in doing this to ours but not sure how black would look. Have you got a front on shot of your car so i could chop the black lights onto ours? Thanks

Why not try spray-on tint, just an idea. I used photoshop to paint the head lights to see which colour matches the paint work before I commmit!
