Well if no one with a petrol Mondeo does not get one then its the Diesel model that's affected! my VIN number,Reg number and a recall number was the only information on the recall letter which was dated November 6th

MY Mondeo ran out of fuel on highway about 3 days after I bought it coz the guage wouldnt go below a quarter. Was my first tankful so i had no idea the gauge was wrong.
Dealer said they never heard of it before, but later they said that Ford Uk said it was a known issue with the sensor in the tank on some builds. Could be that? |

We have 4 diesels with the latest one being purchased around 4 months ago. This one had the problem and the driver also ran out of fuel whereas the others (purchased between 6 - 9 months ago) have been fine.
