Default Got my new MC Titanium!!

This the best Mondy ever and my 4th of this shape. After the black colour the white is really refreshing and a lot cooler.
My first impressions:
Power is really up. This thing moves!!!
i like the forward warning message - the whole cluster lights up red.
The lane warning thing also pretty cool as is the blind spot warning.
Still have not worked out how to load more than 1 cd - the book says "press load button" - but there isnt one!
Handling is awesum - really really good. Economy seems good - but will have to wait for it to have some k's on it to really tell.
I'm not a big fan of rear spoilersbut the design especially in white seems to need one to complete the look.
All in all very very happy with the new car.

Welcome to the club I think the CD is not a multi-stacker just a single a backward step in my opinion

Six stacker CD has six little red circles lit up....or just 1 for a single stacker (that's why you can't find the LOAD button?)
Rear soiler does complete the rear look...check out MB XR5s !!!
Fuel economy (petrol at least) is helped by complete shut-off on over-run (in my MB XR5 2.5T). The fuel consumption drops to 0.0 lt/100km - better than at idle 1.3lt/100km !! Really fun coming down off Perisher Valley plateau past Sawpit Creek and still in top gear (creates it's own petrol).

And congrats on the purchase.

Would it be because most people have MP3 players etc that a 6 stacker has gone the way of the 8 track??????

Yep. My surprise too when I discovered only a single stack CD after driving for 2 weeks or more. The Manual is wrong, and so too the MC advertising information supplied to the dealers - and hence why they probably told you this. (and also previous Titanium came with 6 stacker).
The ONLY place I saw that stated this was a single stack was in the online brochure from Ford Australia - and confirmed by other's on this forum under my Thread "2011 Mondeo Titanium - Missing Options"

I've since loaded up a 4 Gb (too small) then a 8Gb USB stick and currently use this. I've got over 1100 songs (around 60 - 70 CD's). Don't think I'll use the CD player ever again!
The iPod connector (Y cable) works well too. See thread "2011 Mondeo Titanium - Missing Options" for link to eBay where you can purchse one for $3.50

My $3.50 iPod cable arrived today !!! At least my daughters iPod will now work and be 'fully' integrated'...as in fully....
And even having a 6-stack in my MB XR5, I use a 4Gb USB stick these days (cost $7). After 2 weeks of commuting 30mins each way I'm almost half way thru.
Only thing to watch is the length of the larger capacity USB sticks - they seem long. Don't know if the 8Gb ones I've seen would fit as a direct plug-in (i.e. no intermediate cable).

CD's are dead....like 8-track cartridge, 78rpm records (e.g. 1920s cars), audio cassettes....and shortly, 3-pedal drivers (see other thread).

MC Titanium content - they sound like a big improvement over the MB diesels.

Mine came yesterday and I've been driving around with it playing today. Not sure if we're missing out on any quality issues with it being so cheap but I can't tell the difference. And it reads my AAC files from the Ipod, instead of just mp3's. Only downside is that it (the sound system, not the Ipod cable) is sorting my podcasts alphabetically instead of in recorded/date order. Perhaps there's a workaround for that, but I'll worry about it later. In the meantime; $3.50, what a bargain!

Dash, I think it's the heated windscreen. There should be two buttons on the far right of the centre section, one for rear and one for the front windscreen.
