Default Tha GT-P is now with its new owner

The day has come, the new owner of the MaD GT-P has happened, while we had some great times, and some memorable times!!! Go Krispy Kreme!!!

It has been sold!

The car has been fantastic, but the experience with FPV and Ford in generall has been a nightmare!!!

I will never buy another FPV again or any Ford Performance Vehicle, and if i was to purchase a Ford it would be somthing along the lines of an XR8.

I had an extreamly good time with the people we met and hopefully we can meet again! unfortunatly for Filthy Monkey his Turbo could not grasp the Full Power if the V8 but maby in some time you will work it out that ya just can't beat a V8!!!

thanks for the Great Times and looking forward to seeing everyone again

just a bad experience with FPV, and there have been lots of posts about all sorts of problems with FPV

Have ya seen the advert in the Latest Unique cars! half a page of someone lovingly describing FPV! and why they cant supply him Origional wheels untill July!

because when there is no such line as CUSTOMER SERVICE in fords vocabulary!

at 24 and purchasing this car with CASH, it has been a bloody disgracefull experience.

i have had a great time with the car, but if parts are this hard to get now! imagine it in 5 years time!

Doubt it mate, i had a real car, ford f(*)&^d it with a flash, but we all know a un-flashed turbo is the better car, cheaper to mod, quicker to rev, and its got "class", oh, it also doesn't use as much oil..............

Well without knowing all the story and wether you went above the dealers head or not, which if you did'nt then maybe you should have. Mainly because with enough com;laints against an FPV dealer they can lose their franchise to market FPV.

I'm very interested to hear the whole story if you feel inclined to tell it,but don't let one uncaring dealer put you off Ford,I've never had a problem with any dealer from Alice Springs to Coffs Harbour all only to willing to do what they can to please.

To a degree, you are quite right, BUT ford have so many ins and outs, it quite often leaves the dealerships hand stied, literally.

Whether the dealer goes into bat with you or not, once your past them you strike nothing but idiots out to do you over any which way,i reckon their poor service is so people don't go the warranty route and pay for it.
So its less fuss - believe me, i can vouch for that! They are bastards like this.
CRC managers are nothing but liars, boy i got a ripper beef with them, sure others here do too........
As for MadManz, after what you told me, the games, the BS, the crap FPV dish out, but being partnered with ford they were schooled by the best...

I can only say this - wise move ditching the gt-p. Sad to say it, it was a beautiful car (less the motor), but why bother with such poor service???

Well what about consumer affairs or the big stick the ACCC.
It may take a while when they take your complaint on but in the end usually the customer wins.
Failing that there is always the lemon campaign and that can get instant action.

Then write/email to the top dog in Ford Oz and while your at it email Happyjack and Geoff Polites and let it be known in no uncertain terms of your complete and utter dissappointment with their product.......i.e. WHINGE and WIN.Hell even go as far as the HO in the states.
There is only one person who will stand for your rights as a consumer intially and that is you,how far you're prepared to go depends on who will take up the cudgel on your behalf and push further to win.

Whilst that may be a way to get what is rightly yours, there are two key points missed:
1. The product with that price tag should not be so F&ckin' dodgy in the first place - quality control anyone???????
2. You should not have to go to any length like that. Rock up to dealer, explain problem, hand over keys, dealer rings few days later, car fixed, drive away.

The real problem is FPV/FORD service/warranty........................ We should not have to go through that in the first place.

and if i ended up doing all that i would hate driving the car as i would spend more time complaining, isn't that why they have a call centre, if they cant get it right! wots the point!

anyways this isnt a bitch about ford, i had a great time with our car, just was pittafull( Spelling!) when somthing did happen.

everyone seems to find a reason why they have done a good job! and that is the funny part!

I hope the new owner has as much fun as i did, and a better time with FPV and Ford if he ever needs to talk to them.

Good to hear its all over for you mate. I know that if I spent that much money on a brand new car then I would expect much higher levels of service.

It was a really nice car though. Why is it that you sold it after its all been fixed etc? Good luck with your next one

Sounds good mate. Warranty does suck when it comes to modifying cars.

Oh by the way, does the new owner know about this forum?
