So many people ordering BFs in Rapid. We already have one in the carpark at work (a n/a XR6 with the ZF auto).

Also, i think Blueprint lasted longer than 2 years, it originally started on the Series III AU XR and T-Series range, and wasn't dropped until Mk II BA (correct me if I'm wrong). |

Dropped in Jun 04, and the MKII came out in Oct 04. Blueprint was replaced by Shockwave and Velocity. Velocity has since been dropped for Bionic. Wish they'd make their minds up!! BTW, my Rapid XR8 ute was the first Rapid ute ordered, and I didn't see another Rapid Falcon, sedan or ute, for months after I got mine in Nov 04, to the point that it was the ONLY Rapid one at the FPV day in 05, and that was 3 1/2 months after I got it. Now I see probably 3-4 a day. I agree that they will probaly drop it soon-ish, maybe at the end of the BF?? |

oooooops.... Sorry mate, I quoted the wrong post... It was supposed to be Falcon Freaks.. "A colour which proves to be too popular usually gets dropped". And I KNOW what HgAg is (I have one)

this is bionic yeah? it wasnt a metallic colour
i just love this colour, this was an xr6 hire car we had down in adelaide for the past week - the car simply stands out anywhere you take it and turns so many heads - and IMO people dont look twice at a mercury silver metallic xr6. |

yeah i must admit, i'd buy a car with a bright colour, but at the same time, while rapid is a nice colour, you dont want too many of that colour, thats probably why they can it if it's popular.
The more there are out there, the more i have to choose from when im ready to buy a second hand one |

Generally with the Hertz XR's it is luck of the draw. You can ask for preference to be given for an XR6, but you won't always get 1. It will depend on availability in selected locations.
