Default xy engine build.

Hi well the xy engine build is well under way with an end in site somewhere in the next month and a half so here are the pics of what has been done so far.

That was just as i started to the rebuild.

And now the bulid but to what it should look like.

Engine back from engineworld the local bloke.

Heads are on after recon and upgrade.

The new paint colour of which is ultra white looks great in the sun.

The new roller rockers are on and a coat of paint just to finsh it off till the rest gets done hopefully soon.

The toploader cops a coat of paint for a great look under the car.
Well thats it as so far will keep posted with the rest of the build.

Thumbs up engine rebuild

gday, everything looks good so far, very keen to see the finished item, when do you think you will be turning the key?also got to agree with with thunderoo>its going to take a bit to clean those pavers(it could be worse i suppose, could be red paint)....cheers good luck with rebuild.

Finally got kodak up and running again so here are the updates:

Bolted on alt and gilmer belt drive and changed all the bolts to stainless for some good looks.

Just for pictures sake bolted up the twin gas research and pacemaker 4 into 1 looks great now and almost done just a few small bits to be done for the dyno.

Now the msd igition is slaped in with moroso leads timed her best we could just needs a polish now.

Default Dyno day

All's well that ends well is what they say and the 351c has come to live wif a growl unfortunately a bent flywheel stoped us going over 4000 rpm so a power run wasn't on the cards but it ran well with no oil or water leaks it should be a talky engine.

We did this at a small town called woolgoolga at goodman engines who has been doing it for 45years and realy knows what he's talking about after working with most of the big names in motorsport in oz.

Well its all done now runs 100% with 210rwhp at 5000rpm(bad tyres) should be about 300-350 hp at the flywheel not bad for a ford bbq.
