As most of you who ventured across here from the old Forums, i had been having quite aan intersting time to say the least with my EB Fairmont.
Having just gotten it back from radiator shop the other day. I had the entire cooling system cleaned out, Thermostat replaced and the system pressure tested aswell as a compression test on the head. This all revealed that the radiator was 50% blocked and my head gasket was infact not gone :sm_headba But, ive had to fork out a total of $500 in last 3 months on just the cooling system alone. But now its all sweet. Anyways, got it back from a Road Worthy inspection today, and to my suprise not much really needs doing. Front Brake rotors need replacing Front LHS wheel has gotta go New wiper blades etc (the usual) nyways just thought id get it off my chest, quite releaved that atleast the car has some good signs to it. NOw i just need to get the brakes done and sell it.

Thanks Jack. I wish i had the patients you have, Car is going quite well atm (touch wood). I can clearly see that my former mechanics were either
a. Incompetent or, b. Money hungry bastards. Now to just save for hat AU2 on gas.

VS is still in my mind, but for my money, wouldnt an AU straight gas be better? if i ran into an immaculate VS 2morro, id still definately consider it. But ive heard and read alot of good things about AU's.
