Default Fitting 6x9" speakers into the front doors.

Hi there just wondering if anyone has put a set of 6x9 speakers into the front door of an AU and if they fit easier enough. Cutting out a template shouldn't be too hard but just wanna know if they will fit first.
Also, what is the biggest you can fit in the back of a wagon with mounting them in the same position as the stock speakers which on my wagon are a pathetic 4".
Thanks in advance, Rhys.

as far as i know they will fit in the doors with a MDF spacer but the screw holes wont line up so u might have to drill 2 new ones.
What is it ur after by using the 6x9s? if its bass id just mount 6x9's in the back of the wagon and put splits in the front, or a small say 10" sub in a slim line box and have it just behind the rear seat so u dont use much room
