Default Motor Trimmer?

Im in Melbourne, well Northern outer suburbs actaully. I have an AU3 XR8 with leather seats. One of the perforated leather sections on the back seat is torn. From the few trimmers I have called, they tell me that leather is no longer available?

Anyone know of a trimmer that MAY have some of it. Only need one piece sown back in.

Thanks.

Yeah, most of them sell the whole set of seats and won't let one go. They have become a real rarity.

Try member here Pridenjoy , maybe able to help with seat or upholsterer with correct material. I was just looking at pics here of FGX XR8 leather seats and perforated material appears quite similar. Cheers

You would be very lucky to get matching perforated leather material from anywhere. You can get 'aftermarket' perforated leather but the perforations are not at the same spacing. You probably wouldn't notice it if you did all of the seats but it sticks out like you know what if you only do one seat.

Have you tried a leather repair mob? You'd be surprised at what they can repair with little or no sign evidence of a repair being made.
