ok i just got a NEC DVD dual layer 16x burner off Ebay and the damn thing didnt come with any software to use with it. i really dont feel like going out and spending more money on software for it so does anyone know any software i could download for free to use with it?

Almost forgot.
May want to try this http://www.dvdidle.com/dvd-region-free.htm and then go to www.astalavista.com and d/l a crack for the program to get it registered.

dvd shrink rocks ya jocks its the only thing i use you need nero to be able to "backup" your dvd's

thanks guys. checking out soulseek now for nero. mainly what im after for now is a burn suite so ill see how this goes first.
but but all means keep em coming! (especially those using dual layer burners). |

well i got nero 6 yesterday but its a little strange compared to what im used to. havent actually burned anything yet but the whole layout seems wierd. ill give it ago another time when i have a few spare disc to waste.

I havent burnt a dvd with it yet (dvd burner coming next week) but the cd copying function is pretty straightforward.
There is quickstart menu in Nero which might help....
