Default I want to see pics of E Series cars dropped on their guts!

I've decidied to bite the bullet and put ultralow King springs in my EB XR6 (with KYB shocks and riding on 18" mags). I'd just like to see some pics of other E series cars that have been dropped on their guts. If you post pics could you also include details of your springs/shocks, what size rims and let me know what the ride is like (if all possible).
Cheers.

you'd wanna watch out for the cops though... i got super lows with 17" an its low enough for me =) ....

they are the lowest in the superlows springs
they are pedders i believe... bought it like this... and it rides like a skateboard, but that is easily changed with super lows with softer springs i guess

I saw your car in the for sale section mate, i've got exactly the same mags as yours too. Just wondering what the ride is like in yours, i'm guessing it's pretty rough being that low? I'm going ultralows all round, i was going to get superlows at the front but decided to put the ultralows in and see how they go. I also have some Monroe GT gas shocks sitting here (i believe you have these at the rear of your car?) but i'm sending them all back in favour of the KYB's. Also do you have any issues with your tyres rubbing on the guards?

Thanks for the pic mate. I've had an EF and AU with superlows in them before and they just didn't look quite low enough for my liking. I'm told ultralows are about 15mm lower than superlows. I actually ordered superlows and they sent me out ultralows by accident but now i've decided to keep them so all good. Got the set of four for $200 (brand new) which seems to be a really good price.

Yeah mate as i said i'm getting KYB shocks all round which are apparently alot stiffer than the Monroes and a bit shorter. Have you rolled your front guards or didn't you really need to?
Nice looking ride btw!
ps. i've got 235/40 tyres on my mags, do you have that size too?

mine with superlows allround on bilstein shocks. yeah its not "dumped" but it sits alright. i have since put in ultralows in the rear and although the spring differnce height compared to superlows looked very promising for dumpage (like an inch in height difference although the UL's had thicker metal than SL's) it barely went any lower than the superlows :( i am not a happy chappy so i think i might try some custom springs or get a new brand called "custom grinder"...LOL

Thanks for the pic mate, it looks nice! How long ago did you put the ultralows in? Apparently springs take a while to 'settle' and they go a bit lower once they have settled.
ps. what performance mods are done to your car?
Cheers.

Does anyone have any pics of that EF Fairmont (i think it was blue) that was lowered 6" (i think it was 6" from memory, either way it was ridiculously low!) Anyone know the car i'm talking about?

yeah had em in for about a month...waitin for the day it magicly drops an inch at the rear...LOL but yeah id go lower all round if my drive way allowed me but even at the moment i cant drive in normally, i have to use both neighbours entrances to get in and out. i can only painfully get out through my driveway but it doesnt sound pretty and i take out half the concrete!

performance mods ive done are dev3HL cam, genie extractors, 2.5 exhaust, xh intake, T5, 3.45 LSD and manual XR ECU...it goes alright for a clapped out motor.

here is a pic of how it sits with the ULs at the bum.

not ultralow at all!

If I owned your car I would not change your rims, even tho they are 15's..... Your car looks very neat, straight and tough, If you through on a set of 17's I think you will ruin the look.... I personally don't like the early E series Falcon's, but yours I will make and exception for.... I like it a lot... Nice car Dude

Here is my EB,.... Its on King ULTRA lows with munrow (sp?) shocks, nothing fancy, but does the job fairly well....... They dont look very 'ultra low' but trust me, they are..... I have 10.5cm clearance at the critical points (sump etc)

Its running 235 x 45 x 17 rubber. I havent actually paid anybody to lip it at the front yet..... But it has slowly been doing it itself over the past few weeks since it has been on the road, he he he.

Oh, and it sits a tad lower at the front now due to the fat 'boat anchor' that now sits in the engine bay.

Yeah that doesn't look low at all John, i see what you mean. Here's a pic another forum member sent me of their car that has ultralows in the rear, it doesn't look anywhere near as low as i thought it would either. I hope my car sits heaps lower!

heres mine, king superlows on monroe gts all round.
as with sloths car the 15s affect the appearance of the lowering alot.

will get some bigger rims one day when money allows for it...

I agree with ausiefalcon, mine looks lower on 17s than it did on 15s with the same springs
