Just wondering if any one is using a throttle controller to improve throttle response on their 2.0 tdci?
I did a search but didn't find anything. It's something that the com dore buys seem to love or hate. I was thinking of getting one to try and get rid of some of the lag in the throttle pedal. |

I haven't gone there myself and It's because (seeing as I have a slushbox auto) I can slightly load the engine/trans with my foot on the brake and slightly on the accelerator then when the time is right release the brake and feed in more of the go pedal.
From there on out it really is 'Put the token in the slot, foot down on the Pedal......You'rrrrrrre Racing!'

Need a device to predict the future (when you plant your foot)? Sometimes at roundabouts, I find a bit out of sync. Part of the character. Merry Xmas Mondies! |

I understand what turbo lag is, I've been driving diesels for fair few years. The development of the VNT turbo was a big step forward in reducing the turbo lag which as I understand it these motors use. Fast spool up rate and still being able to maintain good air flow/pressure at higher rpm is the holy grail of turbos. |
