Default Mazda Shinari - Concept Car

I stumbled across this Concept from Mazda recently and thought I'd share it with those who haven't seen it.

Looks great to me, very Aston/ish and whilst it won't go into production, they say some of it will find its way into the upcoming RX9.

check out the roof on that thing... glass and a,b,c,d,e pillars... its a shame theres not a limited run, but alot of features wouldnt pass under many countries design regulations.

Shades of Jag/Aston influence, with some harder edges towards the nose. I reckon it is sensational! If this is indicative of their design direction, I like it!

Looks like a matchbox car after your mum accidentally steps on it.

I like it, but from this angle it looks like it wants to eat you.

Lol what car doesn't it look like? Its very CLS-ish (only because no one has mentioned it Got a bit of Falcon too, (see they both have 4 doors). :P

It is a nice looking concept though, and a fair few design highlights of the Furai concept made their way onto the production cars so hopefully this will see the same.

New design language from the new design team now that Moray Callum has left.

Slight evolution of the Furai style concepts – still has the 5 pointed grille and a lot of other typical Mazda attributes.

I look forward to seeing the new production cars that take their style from this – especially the new lighter weight MX5’s and oft-rumoured RX7 replacement (RX9?)
