It has 10 pins at the end and a diagram of the numbered pins on the flat side under the bosh number. The only google image I found the same was off gumtree. Asked that knob but he wasn't keen on sharing his knowledge or he plain simply didn't know. Cant blame my man for forgetting really. He's got 3 vehicles in bits and numerous building/reno projects going on around the house. It was only a matter of time before something got lost and then something unfamiliar shows up instead. LOL

Ours is cleaner than the one in these pics so it leads me to believe that it is probably from the vehicles interior? under or behind the dash some where either that or it incased really well on the exterior some where???

Other half was just wondering if it came out of the door? Considering he was replacing a buggered window motor only 2 weeks ago I'd doubt it

@aussieblue you are the bomb. thank you so much. he's out there now checking both cars. I reckon its come off the Futura as its is the newer purchase and it was brought no going because the smartsheild lock was activated, (part in the box). I bet that's why it hasn't started because the circuit wasn't complete. hes worked on that for way too many days and I bet he didn't check the box of parts

@GasOLane Thank you too. Without you and @aussieblue I wouldn't of found it without spending a week or 2 trolling through google, eBay and car part suppliers. Thanks to you guys i've been able to yell the mystery out the window with the warning "and be nice to it, it was discontinued back in 2013!"

I love this forum, the answers are ways here, somewhere. If you can't find it, ask, some one will ALWAYS answer. The members on here rock unlike a couple of other forums I have belonged to over the years. One of them, I'm still waiting for the answers 3 years later(different model of vehicle). You guys are better than Facebook ford pages.

OK GasOlane your pretty good at this mystery object game so what's this:
Its identity is being debated on the US Ford Forum see https://www.fordforums.com/f166/foun...-cover-307190/ . It was found on the valve cover of a 2014 Titanium Focus.
