Saw it last year and going to see it again this year. It's supposed to be a different show this year to what it was last year, so that makes it worth while going again.

I'm flying up Saturday morning. Can't wait, I haven't been to Sydney (besides the airport) before.

Driving up Saturday for Sunday morning show, and then straight to Bathurst to watch the finish of the Bathurst 12 Hour. No kids, myself and the wife only! :

Yup, got tickets for the Saturday arvo show. Was the only show I could get adjoining seats that weren't in the nose bleed section; and that was only a couple of days after the tickets went on sale. Still debating whether to drive all the way or hop on the train at Mt Victoria or Katoomba. Is there any parking around Acer Arena that doesn't cost a shirt load of cash?

Heading off to tonight's show with my Dad. Should be good.
I went to last year's show as well, which I quite enjoyed. Even if the Ferraris were replicas (thanks for ruining the fun NZ border security).

OMg, absolute ********** house show, i have never seen anything worse... definately would not recommend to go again... they used 65% of the things in last years show (which was a terrible performance) in this years show...
4 donuts in a HSV E2 by greg murphy was the highlight of the show... thats how sh*it it was!! |

Not really fair, Sydney can be a foodies delight! Or for a cheap thrill and self guided tour http://www.scronline.com.au/Sydney/ try that. They have a late model Ducati as well IIRC.

I flew down for last nights show, it was nothing special. I love top gear but have to say that the 1/4 hour stunt show at movie world is better.

Waiting to take our seats and so far not impressed... Less cars on show than last year and it is very obvious Holden must be some sort of sponsor... 10 holdens on display and 1 XW GT

Well, I've just come home after the show and I must say I was completely underwhelmed by the whole experience. $129 + booking fee per ticket, for a whole 80 minute show with no really outstanding moments. The "stunt driving" was ordinary, the banter with Greg Murphy was contrived and a whole 5 minutes at the end of the Stig scooting around the arena was no more interesting than the earlier "stunt" driving. I'll say no more about it but I certainly won't be wasting my money on it again and I feel sorry for the people who flew in to see the show. My trip, with 2 tickets, fuel, 7 hrs of driving, babysitting fees and food and drinks turned it into a near on $500 day :( . Schit, we had more fun and entertainment with a 2 day pass to the Muscle Car Masters for less than half the price, and that included accommodation.

Saw it last night, thought it was quite a good show. It was funny, clever and whilst obviously scripted significantly different to last years show. Ken Block was funny, having Jimmy Carr host Carmageddon was hilarious - especially with every comment bringing huge explosions. I guess though my sense of humour is a little, well, skewiff.
Greg Murphy though was painful and him trying to evoke some nationalist pride was a little dumb, considering he's a kiwi. The sheep shagger jokes by Jeremy and James were quite funny though. Agreed the displays were a bit ghey but I've got to say though, Roosters display for the army of that wicked P6 LTD was enormously impressive.
