Very simple I'm sure but how on earth do you separate the flip key remote to replace the keyfob battery. Just got this as a jap import into NZ with no manual.
I've googled pretty much everything I can find. I've tried various amounts of leverage and am concerned there is a little tab etc you need to depress to get into the remote. Thanks Ged |

Hope this helps, its from the LT models owners handbook. (If I ever manage to up load the scanned page)
Instructions are 1. press button to release key blade 2. insert screw driver( small flat blade)as far as possible into the slot at side of the key and push toward the keyblade to release the c]ontainer from the key.(If you look inthe side of the key fob when the blade is out you can see a small square slot. This will allow you to seperate the key section from the body of the remote sender) 3.insert screw driver in opening at side of container and rotate it to start opening the container. 4. Insert screw driver into the opening at front of the remote sender container and rotate it to open the container completely. It splits in half exposing the small circuit board and battery . be careful not to loose the key ring which falls out when you open the sender unit section..
