Hello all, I notice alot of people using abbreviations in their posts. I do not mind this at all but for the life of me I can not figure out what they are trying to say. So I have got a list together of the ones I know and feel free to add your own.
And before anyone says I am an old fart, I am 23 : Lol = laugh out load PMSL = myself laughing ROTLMAO = Roll on the floor laughing my *** off POS = Piece of shyt FFS = For ducks sake BTW = By the way

I can handle acronyms (and use quite a number of the above) but when a post is made up of many abbreviations of words I zone out and enter Grandpa Simpson mode. Our language is being butchered by the SMS 'speak' generation, but I digress..
FFS is something I use quite often when I'm playing COD4. :P BBL - Be Back Later is probably the other one I use often. |
