Hi Guys
Can anyone recommend a good place to get my windows tinted in Melbourne? I want to get the darkest legal tint. I was quoted $395 by Tinta-a-car. Not sure if that's good or not. Any help would be much appreciated |

Sounds ok to me.
At least if you have any warranty issues, they should be around in a few years time. The did the rear window of FG for 210.00 twelve months back.

Check out facebook pages for specials on the smaller companies as websites hardly ever get updated. A local company i noticed had $250 specials running every month on FB which i thought was a great price

My local mobile tinter here in Adelaide can do $250.00 whole car in pretty much most tints available.
Need to choose whether to go a metallic tint for the rear glass also if an older B series.

I got my car tinted with octane at tint a car in geelong, they did a great job. Though if I were to tint again, rather than go darkest legal, id go whatever tint reduced heat the most. Which I'm pretty sure darkest legal, doesn't necessarily do. Darkest legal looks great, but when it comes time to reverse at night, windows are just too dark in my opinion.

Me too! Tint job needed shortlyish...do normally err on tint-a-car tho, one of those products you really need to be sure you have warranty cover for the long run
