I've had a few different sets of shoes on mine. I will be picking up another set to go on tonight.
I'll show you a few photos and see what you think. I have tried aftermarket wheels but have grown to love the factory look. So I will be sticking with that. Started out in 2005 on BA XR 17's Wasn't happy with that so tried some chrome 20's After the kit went on the chrome one's didn't suit too well. 2008 I tried some sporty 19's.. Moved on from them in 2010 and put TL50 wheels on A mate had some 20's lying around so I tried them. Not a fan. Tried another set of chrome rims. 20's on the front 22's on the rear. Again, not a fan.. Another set of 19's.. Dodge Nitro 20's fit. But no good in black. These BA GT's I really didn't mind. Back on the TL50 rims. Which would have to be my favourite. The wife's car on standard 17" Elegance wheels The wife's car on TL50 wheels (Which will be staying on) A few more LWB's to add to the mix. Stu's LTD on T3's.. Nathan's Fairlane on 20's Geoff's Sportsman on Azzurro's A nice white Fairlane on 20's Another nice white Lane.. Silver T1 TL50 on T3 wheels I've got heaps more pics of AU LWB's with all different types of wheels. When I find them, I'll post them up.. Sorry to bombard the thread..

Love the collection of photos, Kristo! Great effort! Also love your wife's 75, nice to see another one in good hands. The BA GT wheels look quite factory and sensible on your TL but looks best with the TL wheels though. I see you're changing them again.

+1 for the TL wheels. There's not any one of those shots that look Better than the TLs' IMO. ...And the Elegance wheels just look, well,...elegant. They're like a Goldilocks breakfast; not too hot, not too cold , but just right.

flush spoked wheels look best on the AU LWB's imo
dished wheels look at odds with the rest of the styling i reckon

It's all about rim width, rollnig diameter etc. As long as the new tyre size is +/-15mm in total rolling diameter to original, you will be fine - also as long as tread width is no narrower than stock, and track does not increase by more than 25mm (this is a function of rim width and offset, not diameter though).
