Default New Years Resolutions (2012)

So 2011 is coming to an end, which means January 1st 2012 is a fresh start for all of us who made new year resolutions 12 months ago, but in the end didn't go through with it or gave up (probably most of us).

I did follow through with most of my new year resolutions I made for this year, so I'm pleased with that.

In 2012 I plan to build muscle, start at TAFE and spend more time with my family. Nice and simple.

So what about you? Did you follow through with the resolutions you made for this year and what are your plans for 2012? Let's here 'em...

Get cracking on my automotive course, try to get an apprenticeship.

Hope to god that 2012 is better than what 2011 has been... I'll be happy to see the backside of 2011...

I seem to never get around to meeting my resolutions.

This year:
Gert more certs.
Get some more time for photography.
Get into car detailing so much more ... and learn technique correctly.
More family time and less work time.

Same as this year; staying the course. Life may deal out some doozies, but staying strong with what you want is all you can hope for in our finite lives.

Failed miserably for this year. 2012's resolution will be;
1. Quit smoking
2. Save up enough for my eye surgery.

drop 10kg by the end of Jan, from where I am now. That way I have a head start

Also, I want to save more $$$ I exceeded my savings goal for last year, so that gives me a bit of confidence... and then, drink less beer, and brew my own beer.

I might think about donating twice as much to charity in 2012. That would be a nice thing to do.

I actually had none that I'd definitively stated (besides, finish uni), 2012 holds:
1. Commit to my grad job and impress the socks off my boss so I have the opportunity of 6 months in scotland...
2. Actually get back into being a proper Girl Guide Leader again
3. Try to fit into some of my old clothes (the sedentary lifestyle took it's toll on me this year)
4. Save a bit, and try to grow my little side business a bit better.
5. Watch all of Xena and Hercules, then write a dissertation on what it means to society today.

To get back into work and learn to save money better. I had an interview the other day, was told I was exactly who they were looking for. Said when I could start (interview 22nd, I was heading to city 23rd for christmas) they said have your phone on so we can organise start date. I get a phonecall saying sorry we need someone to start now. Yet I told them I was in perth for 5 days and they were cool with it. So let's hope 2012 yields better.

This years new years resolution is to be in a position that come 12/13 new years eve I won't need to make a resolution.

If that makes sense.
