Hi guys, I am looking to open a new cafe and would like your opinions on names. I was thinking where I could go to ask a variety of people there thoughts. I first thought Facebook but than I thought that the most success I have had with getting valuable advice was this web site. So guys and girls give me your ideas on a name for my new cafe. I will list my ideas below and when we get a few more that are popular I will run a pole. You can have a name and a slogan if you like. So mine are.
BARISTA BAR CAFE COFFEE SENSATION, Sensational Coffee COFFEE FIX, Cause Coffee Fixes Everything. COFFEE ADDICTION. I really want your ideas, good or bad. if you like one of mine just post that name. Thanks to all for your input, who knows you might be the one who names my Cafe.

Capulus Effrego which is supposedly Latin for coffee break. But I could be wrong as I can't find a reference to it.
Cafeum is Latin for Coffee. |

The cafe is between a Hugh Cinema and Centre link. Won't really be doing anything different to my competition but they are not close.

If you have a nice big wall; especially outside, maybe speak to steen jones; whose now based in QLD, and get a nice big wall painting - a nice big bold statement.
He's been commissioned by companies for pieces inc. sailor jerry, l'oreal, but also small businesses and commissions pieces of art work. Yup, im a fan lel Website @ steenjones or his company few and far collective. Check out his instagram page.

Keep it simple.......
People can then say "How about we go to the.......... " The Café The Caff The Mackay Coffee Shop. Open Cut Coffee. (with regards to the mines in the area) Try getting your local boy, Graeme Connors, to open it for publicity?

That Coffee Place
(There is a successful chicken shop in Sunbury called 'That Chicken Place'.) Mackay Cafe? If you don't have a location yet, industrial estates are full of moron tradies like me who will pop in for lunch and coffee all the time. As long as its a step up from 3 day old potato cakes which give you nuclear heart burn you're on a winner, steak sandwiches are a winner. The local industrial cafe changed hands, now the food is good and so is the coffee, the nuclear potato cakes are gone for good and its always busy. Still offer the fried food but don't keep it there for a week. Last edited by Franco Cozzo; 22-06-2015 at 03:40 PM. |
