Smile Just saying gidday :)

Just logged in and wow..I remember when this forum first started and I was one of the first members. That was like 12 years ago and wow I am out about in a different world. The cars are way faster and stock fords are pulling 12 second 1/4miles!!!
Had the wind knocked out of me in 2007 with a good size heart attack got sorted then more blockages in recent years..then ripped a leg muscle to pieces then last year more setbacks.
I think it humbles you heaps and you realise how important it is to just make the best of what you have and enjoy life best you can.
It has been a bit of a change with car scene and I watch many people go through what we went through years ago in our journeys to racing modding etc.
I cant help but feel the past 12 years has given alot of insight but most of all that the car scene in Australia is alive and kicking.
Anyway dont know whos still around but hi.

Yeh the FG's are a quick thing, that's for sure.

Have you seen my 220 Windsor wagon thread?
I think it might give your old wagon numbers a scare.

I'll get it down to the track sometime in the near future.

While the basic Ford Six was code named Barra, the Turbo version clearly deserved its very own moniker – again enter Gordon Barfield.
We asked him if the engine had actually been called “Seagull” and how that came about.
“Actually it was just call “Gull”, because I named it that. Because we knew it was going to poo on everything”.
