I'm looking to do an oil change on the girlfriend's WQ Fiesta next weekend.
How do you guys go using a floor / trolley jack on these things? And where are some points to put the jack stands safely? Obviously these cars have certain points along the sills to jack from but I'd prefer not to do the whole block of wood with a groove cut into it thing if possible. And no, I don't have ramps either. Thanks for any advice you can give. |

Do the block of wood with the groove cut in it.

Ok, here is how I did it:
 A scissor jack under the front passenger side sill, allowed enough height to get a trolley jack under the sub-frame, supported with a block of wood. Then placed jack stands under the sills on each side for safety. |
