The simple method of converting a 3.9 CFI to LPG is to use a 2bbl webber LPG base plate. Combined with an LPG o2 computer the setup is very fuel efficent.

I still lost, sorry's.
I can get a hold of a impco LPG unit and mixer for next to nothing, but worried about disabling the CPI injectors, will they throw the eec into faullt mode and end up without any timing advance? Have been told i require a pair of injector emulators and switch to them when on LPG, leaving the fuel pump running. but am unsure about this, as these devices cost more than the entire LPG kit s/hand. |
