wondered what people usually experience to know its time to think about getting your own house.

how do they usually deal with everything when they either cant afford the costs or are happy living with parents or dont want to rent like every other low wage earner or a bit of everything.

with storing cars and stuff is there something you can do that will give you atleast 5 years hopefully longer to save atleast 20% deposit of whatever the block you want costs to buy your own and have a shed on a different property, dont want to spend heaps on storage as you may as well be paying off something you own.

for all the 24 volt people out there, what size batteries and solar would you need to power the following in a shed.

about a dozen led lights (hard to say, depends on size of shed)
a few fans
tv
2000w inverter for low powered 240v things

for power tools would just have a generator to do it.


for a cabin what size batteries and solar would you need to run following 24v gear

led lights
fans
water pumps
fridge
12v accessory sockets (either with a 24-12 stepdown or on its own batteries and solar)
2000w inverter to run low powered 240v gear.

would use a generator for the aircon or to charge the batteries up for a few hours if theres been no sun.

with a generator how would you make it quieter so you can run higher power 240v gear in cabin or will you have to buy extra batteries and solar

If there’s always one relative that always runs the family functions no matter where, how would you go about running one of them other than waiting for as long as it takes to make more friends or reconnect with previous ones.

What space can you use when you don’t have a big enough area other than waiting till you have your own van to be able to bring people over whether you have the function there or somewhere not far.

Hopefully oneday will be in the original school home ec teachers position who’s about 63/64 and have a van and be able to park it somewhere local, then again she’s probably worked 40 years
