hey just wondering what CAI you would recommend for my au xr6, and also wat type of air filter should be used to gain maximum Economy and power

The best one around is the blue power one, but it comes at a cost. There is also the ones Whoosha got on the group buy. I use a KandN XStream pod, and full 3 inch mandrel intake. You could just use a pod in the group buy air box and the original intake piping, and I think that would give you the best gain, for the smallest amount of money. Around the $350 mark. The bluepower box is around $600. The three inch mandrel bent intake is generally around $2-300.
The best bang for your buck option, seeing as you already have the ticky snorkle, is cut the front of the airbox out completely beneath the air filter line, and use a KandN or Lukey or BMC panel filter. Total outlay will be around $100.

As Mont said the BP and GD style ones are the top of the range or I think Horse power Factory also so do a similar style now .. the group buy ones can be found in this link and I may be able to dig some more up if needed :
