Default P0400 EGR fault

Hi
Had this fault come up two days ago, a friend got the code out of the car. 2007 LT focus 2ltr duratec, does it actually have egr as I couldn’t see it, must admit I didn’t look that hard.

I thought ford had actuator problems with the ERG but could be wrong

Has egr remember Google’s your friend should be connected to inlet manifold with sensor connections can be cleaned sometimes but can also be a fault in wiring or connections or sensor etc make sure plug is connected correctly
Price a new one before you start
Someone on forum may have picture. Need to clear code after repair
