Default SVO 112 cam in AU XR8

hey everyone,

My brother just recently visited mick webb and bought an SVO 112 camshaft, he has had nothing but troubles. was running an aftermarket comp on it though, and kept blocking the diagnostics. then it started running ok and sounded quite nice : , but crap fuel eco, getting only 300-350 a tank, sometimes not even. he has gone back to the factory ECU, and more problems, its missing pretty badly, and sounds like it is only running on 7 cylinders. It's been in and out of workshop, just can't seem to adjust to this cam.

Can any one suggest what or where the problem is?

cheers bluey.

What are the specs of the cam?

Who did the tune on the aftermarket ECU? (which ECU?)

May well be more than one problem. Check the general condition of consumables like spark plugs, ignition leads, air filter, fuel filter.

Check all plugs in the wiring harness are free off dirt/crap, and firmly connected.

It's the little things that get ya ;)
