Due to an unfortunate collision with a Brand new Pajero, my KC Laser was written off. I managed to salvage the wreck for one reason- i had air con and power steering in the car.
I have since bought a KF Laser without air con and power steering. Is it possible to convert from the KC to the KF since both have a 1.6L carby engine?????????? I think its ok but i need reassurance. Singned, Laser Lover. |

Not that I know of. They aren't the same engines at all. Your KC is a B6 engine whereas your KF is a B8. I suppose anything could be 'modified' but I wouldnt want to go about adapting those two particular items!!

Try posting in the Laser section, this is not what this area is for.

Thankyou for all your relplies.
Perhaps i did not make myself too clear. Same Engine: as in engine size was meant, NOT SAME ENGINE TYPE. I am a novice at working on my own cars and i have only asked for advice!! Obviously if i cant do it myself i will have a qualified person to work on my car! BY THE WAY, I have done alot of work on my previous cars myself and i am proud to say I AM FEMALE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So Sorry if i have sounded stupid to some unforgiving MALES out there. But thankyou to those who have offered advice. : |
