Hi everyone, planning on going white Venetians.
Open to all opinions I have got a full respray booked this Monday coming up, so the car will look immaculate. I also have NO tint on the car, and don't plan on it. I have put in a full leather interior and want to leave it visible as i think it looks a lot nicer. Thanks in advance Thinking about white Venetians for some style |

Curious, how much is the respray gonna set you back?
Venetians wont look too bad on your car...maybe try a photoshopped pic and see what you think |

of any blue EL? the respray will include; repairing off all rubbers(1/4 window, rear window and ect.) red stripe and badges all painted red again and just making the body perfect. so the car will pretty much be brand new! cant wait going to set me back about 4k |

i wouldnt do it venetians, regardless of colour. As people have said above, in my opinion, they only suit older cars. I think they'd look out of place on yours.
why no tint? |

IF you put venetians on you may as well complete the look and put a grandpa shade on too lol. I reckon it would look better as is with a tint though but thats just me. Do whatever you want, it's your car.

If you go venetians complete the look by buying rear spats a cardigan , walking socks and sandals too and maybe a Nissan Cedric to go under the venetians . Sorry but they are a thing of the past and thats where they should stay . I think they will look hideous on an E series .

Another vote for no... in my opinion it's a tacky, awkward and mismatched look on newer cars. The styles are out of sync, kind of like wearing running shoes with a tuxedo. If you have your heart set on venetians buy a classic to put them on But at the end of the day it's your own pride and joy, choose whatever makes you happy.

I voted no as well.
Venetians on post X-series Falcons look out of place, let alone their performance orientated variants. |

Venetians are always cool. As long as they're kept clean and white, they look awesome on just about any car, even modern ones...one of the few "traditional" accessories that suits just about anything.
We had a set in our XC Fairmont. I'd have a set in our G6E just for the hell of it. Been trying to find a set for my Celica, but the steep long slope of the rear window on the hatch means it doesn't really work. |

I'd go tint. Agree with the comment above about it only suiting older cars, pre 85 I reckon.

I`ll go against the grain, your spending a good dollar to make it look like it came out of the factory new and want to show it off including the interior, i say go for it.
i really like the xr version of this model, and nice limo by the way. Last edited by mik; 09-09-2012 at 10:50 PM. Reason: add |

Thanks so much everyone for contributing.
I enjoy reading heaps of opinions! The reason why i don't want tint, is because my interior looks awesome i believe haha. Iv'e got all leather inside and i think the clear windows gives the car a more original and clean look. Which is what im after. thanks |
