Default PICS: Commodore Crashes into dealership car park

I have a vague memory of seeing these before but someone sent them to me via email yesterday so maybe they're new and I thought I'd post them here. Does anyone know the story behind it?

You see, thats why HSV now have MRC. The car will be magnetically connected to the road and incidents like this will never happen.

Could be why Holden made ESP available in the VE. Judging by these pics, it was a good move. Too bad the driver din't have ESP, he would have seen it coming :

the thing was the spot where it entered the caryard, the spot was only a foot or two wider than the car...there was a big tree one side and the corner post of the fence on the other

Story goes some guy was on a test drive and "tried" to turn right off grimshaw st into the side street (between holden and nissan), came in too hot trying to beat the on coming traffic and,...well he found out how shiet the HSV's road holding was. Another thing he learnt was that BMW's make good jump ramps!!
