Default freaky Friday

Went out to WSID today,got in 3 runs b4 the rain turned up.Car is a auto BA XR6T with edit and valve springs 250rwkw.best with street tyres was 12.84@108,60foot 2.05.today i put a set of MT street slicks on.best today was 12.64@108,60foot 1.87.

Anthony (VX8255) was telling me that there are companies that convert the standard shocks into 90/10's.
These should be more cost effective than buying new ones.

Horribly there for drag use, there is a company that have made a shock you can switch between the 2 by changing a setting.
Fairly pricey too.

SO basically if you punt the car hard on the road dont bother or use them at the strip only. Would the tein adjustable suspension be any benifit over stock.

Tein is a firmer ride designed for circuit track work, 90/10's are right at the other end in ride handling there designed to let the car come up in the front as easily as possible, on the road they almost feel like no shock.
Having soft springs is the back helps the launch heaps also, your car squats of the line there by not unloading on to the tyres of the start line.

No mate its a standard stall,I use foot brake and handbrake to help get the revs/boost up..left the line at around 2400rpm

gday wade, im having similar problems with the yellow ute at the moment.
the rear spring rate should be around 200lbs (yours, if standard, will be much higher).
what preload are yoy running?
