Default Fiesta MK7 Sport Radiator Grille from EP

Hey Kids

Last December a chick was kind enough to roll backwards down a hill in to the front of my Fez and scratched up the bumper and grille, so now the opportunity to change the grille up has come along. I got cash settled for the cost of a stock CL grille ($162.08) by my insurance today and ordered the new sports grille from European parts, the repairers will be fitting it when the car goes in to get fixed so it's costing me about 80 bucks out of my own pocket.

As I'm a bit of an impatient kid and dying to see the end product I was wondering if any of you guys have actually seen any other pics of a Fez with the grille from EP fitted or if anyone has actually done it to their own car yet?

Cheers
Liri

Will do for sure, hopefully it will be sent as soon as they get them in stock on the 8th so I can book it for repairs sooner rather than later, I hate seeing my car the way it is at the moment.

Finally got the delivery from EP today and I'm pretty happy with it, I took a few dodgy iphone pics so I could roughly see what it would look like when its on the car but will have decent ones when it comes back from repairs next week

Looks absolutely ace Liri. I notice Ford Thailand has this on the cars they have shown, so it may become quite common, although their version uses the shinny chrome finish found on the fog lights and not a matt finish. Regardless, well done and thanks for posting. I personally think the grille looks much better on the CL/LX as the round fog lights seem to make it look strange...

Is the CAI kit on EP?

Thats not the one with the uncovered pod is it?

I'm interested to see the results, because the air intake looks really restrictive with that thing covering the snorkel thingo.

Yeah it's the same one as the one on the EP site but I got a mate to order one for me which ended up being a bit cheaper, but still probably a waste of cash.

Also just in case anyone is interested I kept the old stock grille which I have absolutely zero use for so if anyone wants to come and take it off my hands it can be yours for the low low price of ZERO DOLLARS!!!

I reckon it might do some good if it puts the air intake in a different place, look under the bonnet and you can see some cap thing thats part of the front bar, blocking off airflow to the snorkel on the right hand side (if you are facing the engine).

I'll take it off your hands, been needing a spare one to make my full mesh grille from. PM me your address and I'll see if I can get there in the next week or so Oh and the EP grille looks great, especially on the moondust.

Good work Liri!

I reckon it'd look even better if there was chrome/silver strip above the number plate, going around that retangular opening as well...

And great work on the price too!
