Hahaha I remember analysing something the same years ago.

Do it again, and when it brings up the table of symbols DON'T close it.

Look at your symbol. Look at all the other symbols the same. If you want, even write down every number that has the same symbol next to it.

See, from what I figured, there are only a certain few numbers that will occur no matter what you start with. Every one of these possible outcomes has the same symbol next to it so all it has to do is show that symbol and you're like "WOW!".

The symbols will generate at random for each table, but I bet if you wrote down the ones before (for example 63 was what mine came to, I noticed 81 had the same symbol next to it) - those numbers will always have symbols that match the other numbers. Do it again, I bet 63 & 81 have the same symbol ;)

The only outcomes from the sums are all the same symbol.

In fact, as an addendum to that, no matter what 2 digit number you originally choose, your answer will turn out to be one of the following numbers:

0, 9, 18, 27, 36, 42, 45, 54, 63, 65, 71, 72, 81.

All it does is give all these numbers the same symbol as each other, and voila, when it says it "reads your mind" it just shows that symbol Of course it randomly generates what symbol those numbers will get, but those numbers I just quoted above will ALWAYS have the same symbol as each other.

Edit, or yeah what he just said is a lot more simpler than I did. Trust me to go all technical :P

As above, they mean the number you're left with, not your original.

So 16 - 7 = 9
and
84 - 12 = 72

which share the same symbols.
