BT connection from iphone has been working fine for years but today no connection.
I've removed all BT devices from the headunit and removed the 'Ford Audio' from phone BT devices then went through the pairing process again. Phone sees 'Ford Audio' and then after I enter the 4 digit pin on phone the phone asks if I want to sync contacts/call history etc. The connection then fails immediately, whether I choose yes or no. The phone then shows Ford Audio in list of BT devices, and vice versa on HU, but it refuses to connect. Any ideas? |

This bloody head unit is driving me nuts!.
A few times a week it just refuses to connect in the morning. Then I jump in the car in the arvo and it just works. I know my car battery is on it's way out, but it still starts the car fine each day so I haven't bothered replacing it. I wonder if that might be causing head unit to play up?? |

I occasionally have a similar issue. Usually when it is within range of my wife's phone also.
I have had to once forget the bluetooth and pair it again. Still the clearest phone conversations I have ever had to and from a BT radio. 1000% better than my wife's RAV

If re-pairing worked I'd be happy enough but it just doesn't want to work sometimes. I must have tried 10x thismorning with no luck. Just went out again after the cars been sitting for 8hrs and it worked first try. Go figure. Agreed, it's a bloody good BT connection & mic when it's working. |
