Default Changing Speed Alert

Hi All,
I picked up a brand new XR5 on Friday and yes I am having a lot of fun with the car. At least my drives are not so boring anymore as I always have some one to talk to.

The manual I got with the car however is not so helpful and does not have a lot of useful information.

One of the things that is puzzling me at the moment is the speed alert. Does anyone know if this vehicle is fitted with an audible speed alert? If so how does one go about setting the speed?

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

Tom

Well the MA did so I would assume the MB does, it's set in the ECU and default setting is at around 120km...to have it changed you'd need to seek a friendly dealer whom is willing to use their software to change this. I believe you can't just put any speed in though, it has a few different settings of what it can be set to...

Thanks for the heads up. I will ask the dealer about this when I am next out at Sinclair.

Cheers
