When I saw this thread I thought oh great more kids wanting to know "What's for dinner?"

I have 5 children 6 if you include Chris my husband and what's for lunch and dinner drives me batty.

Anyway for dinner last night we had sweet n sour pork with steamed rice. And for lunch today the kids and Chris all have salad wraps with varying extras such as yoghurts, fruit, pikelets and cruskits. Spoilt rotten this lot.

Lol - this thread should age well.

Lunch consists of an iced coffee and 2 cigarettes. Dinner probably not too different but may involve something frozen being placed in an oven.

What do you mean "am i single?" ????

I'm about 3 weeks off 23 and in the same situation. :

Though at the moment mum is in hospital, so I'm cooking all the meals. Ok, well, dinner, since it's the only one I'm home for.

I had a salad sandwich on soy & linseed bread for lunch, and tonight I'll be attempting to make butter chicken with mushrooms and mustard sauce.

Damn flu. I'm sick of mucous, it's all I've had for the past three days now. It does fill me up though.

And strangely enough it feels like I've just eaten $20-worth of maccas.

salt and pepper cuttle fish with blue eyed cod (both fresh from Sydney Seafood Market) with a Japanese bread crumb with loads of fresh salad done on a mandolin.
And a very nice red: a Blair House McLaren Vale 2001 Shiraz.

I would normally drink a nice white with the food but there was none chilled.

I'm going on a modified version of this... that suits me, and i have lost about 13kg since Christmas. But my version involves eating whatever the hell you want in the morning/lunch (i.e, Macca's KFC, but not too much of anything), and low GI/Low Carb stuff in the afternoon and @ night!

Lunch today was a chicken, sun-dried tomato, lettuce and camembert baguette with a bottle of oj.
Dinner was a banana and a tub of fruche.

My little man had macca's for dinner, and I really didn't feel like the grease.

Takes some getting used to, lots of salad and more fish than I would normally have (what, no batter on the fish?). This stuff people are saying about the amount of red meat in it is just crap. I'm eating about 75% less red meat than I would normally. It really is all about better eating.
